Bittersweet......

Hi mama!!

Well sounds like you just had a fantastic time on your trip and had lots of fun and good food. So that sounds like a win!! Did the group from Otavalo have there long braids and use ponchos??

Well this week was a bit of a bittersweet!!
We are seeing sooo many miracles here in our sector and are being super blessed but also we had our final meeting with President and Hermana Richardson. They literally have been such a big blessing to my life and really have helped me change and become a better missionary and person!! So the feels are real man!!

So first one of the sweets!! Hermana Sam Yorgason and I were able to have divisions together and so we spent 24 hours together as missionaries and loving the work. It was fun to see how we both have changed and grown while being missionaries but also to be able to talk about the blessing we received at home that helped us each make it to this point in our lives. Like good families, Young Womens leaders, friends, and just situations that we went through. That was a fun day. But crazy to think that two white girls from the same home ward in the middle of Ecuador speaking Spanish each other is just cool isn't it.

The next day was a bit of the bitter with the final meeting of President and Hermana Richardson. It was soo good and really we just felt the spirit so strong. It is just weird that something that has been so big in my mission is just changing so quickly. But I have been so blessed to know them and to learn from them. They really a huge examples to me!!!!

Another sweet was to be able to just work and see some big miracles. Like some new families and investigators and then having the chance to help with the branch activity and then having two rescues on Sunday. The lord really is blessing me.

Something that was a real bittersweet was something I learned yesterday. We were in a lesson with a new family that we had just found. We were teaching about the family and how that families can be forever!! Well the hermana just looked at us and said "I hope that is true." That is the first time in her life that she has heard that. That was the bitter for me. But the sweet is that we were able to bring that knowledge to her and invite her to pray to know for herself that it is true. I have always taken for granted that I have the knowledge of a forever family. It has been something that I have known since I knew the words to 'Families can be together Forever' when I was 4 years old. That is a hope that I carry everyday of my life and to know that some people have never heard that makes is so hard. I just want to scream it to the world. But really it is such a blessing because I am a carrier of that knowledge and love that the Lord has given to me in this sacred responsibility of being a missionary. I love this work and the fact that I am a carrier of "Good News" to all the people I visit and teach and come in contact with even if it just a little smile and a contact in the street. They can know that they have a loving Heavenly Father and that there family can be forever.
These things I know to be true and I love the faith and hope I have in them!!

Love you all a ton!! Have a great week!!!
Love

Well, the week went well!

Mama,

Sorry this is going to be a short one but I hope to make it up in the pics.

I had a good week full of miracles. I got to go to lunch at the house of the mission with my group because the Richardsons wanted us to have one with them, because well we only have one change after they go home. So that was super great.

We found lots of new investigators that are really ready for the Gospel and want to know more. We also found a family. They are great!!

Yaruqui is beautiful.

I know that Christ is my Savior and he loves me!! Keep being firm in the Gospel! It is happiness!!!

Love you tons!!

Well....(some sort of cool title)

Hey Mama,

Sounds like the wedding was a success and everything went well. I am super happy for Jasmine and she looked beautiful!!!!!!!! It is good to hear how everything went and how the rest of the week was good.

Well first off I am feeling better. Don't have a fever or anything like that anymore. Just having some problems with my back but you know that is okay. I can live with that. :D

Well the rest of the week was pretty normal. I had a good time and we are working hard and getting to know our sector better. It is a super huge sector but with time we are finding ways to work and are working to find ways. I love a good challenge and this is a good one for sure and so that is cool. The people are getting there. We are getting to know them better and having  a good time with that. We are finding quite a few people just need them to progress!!!!

I know that God lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is a powerful tool that our Heavenly Father has given to us. I know that we can learn through it. I know these things to be true.
I would like to share a chapter that you can read or well two or three this week
Alma 46-48...super powerful stuff right there.

Sorry this is short. I can't really think of anything more to say. I promise to write more next week!!

OH something fun I did today was ride bumper cars in the mall. They are for little kids but that doesn't stop us missionaries!! :D
I would send pictures but this computer isn't reading my card. Sorry for 2 weeks in a row without seeing my smiling face!!!!
LOVE YOU TONS
Hermana Hull

PS my card hasn't made it yet. Since the holidays it has been rough with mail. But I feel it will get here soon!

It is like Otavalo and Ibarra got Married and had a baby named Yaruqui!

Hey mama!!

Sounds like a great week and going to be another crazy one!!! I am excited to hear about the wedding and how everything goes!! IT is tough not being there but I love being here and so well that is super exciting!!!!

Well like the title says this place is super campo and super huge. We are opening the sector and don't know anything. But that is super great. I love it and am excited to get to know it more.

We go to what they call the casita capilla. It is literally a house that has been turned into a capilla(church)!! It is super legit but is super cold all the time. It is super fun and I love it there. Feels like home....haha

The members are a little cold but will come around,. We have to have their help a lot so we can know our sector...literally it is huge. Like probably all the the sectors in central in Ibarra put together. We know nothing but we are getting there and finding new people everyday.

Really it is great here. A lot like Otavalo. I love it and know that there are people prepared to receive this message here.

Hope you got the fotos of the baptism of Thomas. He is like my little hermanito!!

I know that this is the work of the Lord. I know he blesses us!! I know that we can be together forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is true!! I know the priesthood has been restored and can truly bring us power to bless us. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that we are super blessed.

Have a great week!! Love you tons!!!!

PS I could use some extra prayers for my health...I am quite sick. We think it may be a urinary or kidney infection. Like I had when I was little. So yeah that would help a ton.

PPS Don't worry mom I have lots of dog stories as well....we will have story time ;D
