A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Mama!

Wow sounds like quite a week with tons of fun and summer things. I love the Hyde Park celebration and all that jazz. I am excited that you could be a part of it!!!

Also....I can't believe that picture. It is soooo crazy to see them home. I can't wait to see them. Some of them it has felt like forever since I have seen them and so I am super stoked to see them again!!! Do you know when Connor gets home??

Well to all the viewers of the series of the Mission of Hermana Hull I have a big announcement for you....

You all thought you would be seeing me in August.....well that isn't true anymore....you will be seeing me in September......:D
The reason for this is that I EXTENDED MY MISSION!!! It was a request from my mission president so i can almost finish the training of my companion. So I will be here in Ecuador for and extra month being a missionary!!!!
It has been a tough decision not going to lie at all about that. It has been super tough because it was so sudden and happened so quickly and I had already been told that it wasn't likely that I could extend. But it is what the Lord wants, I know it. I was really debating it and prayed a lot to know what the Lord would have me do and one day in studies I was reading in DyC 100. I had read it before and it was counsel from a priesthood blessing that i received to read it. As I read it I came across my answer in verses 12 and 15. I was confused, but the Lord, as I read these verses testified to me through his Holy Spirit that this is the right thing to do. I am super excited and not going to lie really surprised still that this is happening but I am super happy for the chance to serve my Savior for one extra month. It is such a blessing. I still get doubts every once in a while because I was just getting super excited to see everyone, but one month extra will fly by and I am excited to stay in this beloved country of Ecuador.

So that is the big announcement that I would like to share with y'all! A bit crazy but super exciting!!!

I would like to share one last thought with you before i have to go.
First you need to close your eyes....and start singing I need thee every hour in English or Spanish that doesn't matter. Imagine our Savior coming down to earth on that Christmas night, imagine him starting his ministry and working miracles in the streets of Jerusalem, then to the Garden of Gethsemane and then to the cross, after which three dark days a light comes and you can see the resurrected Savior standing on wounded feet with pierced hands and then imagine yourself in his presence and his love for you as he embraces you. Literally I have felt his love. I know that I can't do anything without him. I need him every single hour. As we learn to depend on him we don't become needy folks but we become free. The way to do that to truly learn to depend on him is to live his Gospel daily. We cant truly come to understand who he is or what he has done for us if we don't live how he wants us to live because that make us distance ourselves from him. But as we are obedient to the small everyday steps of making the Gospel our life not just part of it we learn that he is the only way to make it anywhere in this life but not just make it anywhere but to the Celestial kingdom and not just ourselves but the people he wants us to become because we have allowed him to mold ourselves into his disciples. I love him and am thankful and humbled to everyday be his representative. I have much to learn. I am not perfect but I have learned the way that I can become closer to him and I will do those things everyday to be blessed by him and his Gospel!
10 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.

11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning. 3 Nefi 11:10-11

Love you tons!!! have a fantastic week and see you in September!!!

I is training!

Mama,
Well this was quite a week for you and i am happy to hear of all the fun things that are going on!!!

Well sorry this is going to be a bit short but i had to do some other things but overall I am doing really well!!

My comp is from Colombia, Cartagena to be exact. She just had her 21st birthday this 15th of July so that was fun. Her name is Hermana Ramirez and super excited to work. I love this time. Training is so hard but so fun!!!!

I am just so happy for the chance I get to share the Gospel. I am so blessed and am excited to keep working and sharing this light. I was thinking just how important is that we live the gospel not just sometimes but all the time.  Because that is when our light grows and we do to and can help others come unto Him even more. Not through word but actions and how we live the simple sweet truths of the gospel!!

Sorry again this is short. But you know obedience is the first law of heaven and I need those blessings!!!!!
LOVE YOU TONS!!!!

New change...new comp...but the last one....

First off I am sooooo super excited that you got to Meet President and Hermana Richardson!!!!! Like you have no idea. They are just the best ever and everything that they taught to you they taught to me and so much more. I love them a ton!!!
Also I am SUPER excited to meet Hna Holbrook.....like you have no idea. I love her so much. She is seriously one of my best friends!!!!

Also I can't believe that all my friends are getting home.....It kind of freaks me out that this is all happening but super cool to. If you see pics send them to me so I can see too!!!

Sounds like you just had a great week and I am so happy for that. I love this gospel that we have based our lives on and I love it that we can make friends that are eternal through it!!!

Well update to all y'all changes happened. Hermana Huayta is headed home to Bolivia tomorrow morning and left yesterday to Quito for capacitaciones and all that jazz. So i was with another hermana when i found out that I am staying in Yaruqui and that I will be TRAINING again. I am sooooo super excited. So I don't know who exactly is my comp but I am excited. So I am with Hermana Israelsen for these next few days because she is training too. So that is super cool. I am doing good. I just can't believe that time is flying and that I am starting my last change. I don't really want to give it attention but it is on the mind a bit. But I so super happy that I am still here and still have time to work and bless the lives of my little Ecuadorian people. I love them so much and love this gospel so much so it just works together so well.

I know that we are blessed and like Pres. Richardson said that being obedient is 'Cool.' I know that obedience to the Lord not only in the big things but the little things that he asks us each day is such a miracle in and of itself that we are able to become even more like our Savior and learn how to truly submit our will to his so that we can do all that we need to.

I was in a lesson the other day and as we shared I came upon a scripture in DyC 58:31 and went a bit more in depth to it during study and just how powerful the promises of the Lord are and how we will always be blessed. I feel that really as we do his will we come to understand more fully the covenants we have made and how we are able to understand how eternally important these promises that the Lord makes with us are. Really it is all about making the right decision.  It is really cool to find promises he has made to people through out time and how they are completed. The Book of Mormon is full of them. So you can do a bit more in that too and we will all see the miracles that have come of those wonderful promises!!

Love you tons!!!!

Hermanita Gringita or Hermanita Hulk...you can choose!!

Mama

First
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!!! It is just like the best holiday. I hope you have all enjoyed the fireworks and food and just the feel of the 4th. But also remembered what our country was founded on. Really I know that the founding fathers were inspired by God. I know that the fight was real that Satan literally tried to destroy it but it was overcome by God to set forth a nation that was based on religious freedom so that we can have the restored Gospel today. I know these things. I also have learned even more in this week of the plans of God to bring this to pass. He is truly like mom said in the details of our lives. Read the book of Mormon. It talks about it more than once. I am just so grateful for that and that I am from a country that is not perfect but that has the freedoms it has, so I can live the way I want according to this perfectly organized church. I love America. Oh beautiful for spacious skies...but really!

Now that my patriotic spill is over I am doing really good. I am happy and working hard and just loving life in my other country of Ecuador. Really it has been a good week. I got to meet the Murphys and they are great. I got to teach some awesome lesson. I got to walk like forever up a giant hill to find an investigator named Nielda that is going to progress. Most of all I got to share my Testimony of the restored church of Jesus Christ and his love for each of us and the power of his infinite atonement. Really I don't think that there could be any better way to spend a week than in the service of my Lord and Savior.

Just want to share a scripture that is super powerful....

11 And thou didst hear me because of mine afflictions and my sincerity; and it is because of thy Son that thou hast been thus merciful unto me, therefore I will cry unto thee in all mine afflictions, for in thee is my joy; for thou hast turned thy judgments away from me, because of thy Son.
Alma 33:11

I really love this scripture because it testifies of Christ and the mercy that we receive from our Father through our Savior. I also loves that it state that they will depend on the Lord in all there afflictions. I know that this is the only way. I know that through him we are blest and can be made whole but we have to trust him. He is the way and the light. IF we put our trust in anyone else it doesn't work. I know he lives. Trust him and see miracles 'aun mas en sus vidas!!!!!'

Les amo mucho!!! Tegan una linda semana!!
Hermana Hull

PS title explanation....those are the two things that people call me here. So I might not respond to anything else. I really like the hermana hulk...it is easier to explain how to say my name!!
