Mama,
Your week sounds like all this end of school stuff is just crazy and going well. I am happy to hear that all is well with Jaden's back.... I was praying for it a lot and wanted to hear how it is, so I am super glad it is not anything to bad. And that it will heal soon. Also that Jasmine's wedding is super close is loco!!! And Happy Birthday Donna!!! Sorry it is a bit late....:D
Well as to my changes....they happened again this week. Can you believe how fast 6 weeks have gone. I literally can't believe it. I feel like I just started last change and now I am in a brand new one. It is just super crazy and so part of mission life. SO you are probably wondering where I am at right now.....welllllll drum roll please........I am in Quito. Again. Different part though. I am in a place called Yaruqui which is up in the hills of Quito and so it is a lot more like Otavalo which I am super grateful because I wanted to get out of the city- ish areas :D Also this will most likely be my last area of the mission which is insane. It is pretty much like 100% because my companion Hermana Huayta is ´´dying´´ in the next change. Going home and so I will stay and finish here. So well that is crazy huh??
Hermana Huayta is super cool. I have known here since I was born here in the mission. She was in my first zone. We have had some of the same comps like Hermana Pingree and Hermana Ukle and have been in some of the same sectors like Ibarra and Carcelen. Crazy huh?? She is 21 and is from Bolivia, Sucre. So that is super cool. First comp from Bolivia!!! That is exciting!! I am stoked to work here and get to know the people. I know the Lord puts us together as companions for a reason. I don't know why yet but I will come to find out and I also know that we are sent to certain areas for a reason and I am super excited to love the people here. It is a branch as well and Hermana Huayta told me it is a house church and so that means it is small but it is going to be super fun and I am just ready to rumble!!!!
As to the familia Bermudez......,not going to lie my heart was broken yet again. They were unable to make it happen this last week. They are super worried about the rent and put it off. It made me soooo sad. But I know that they are going to get baptized within the next few weeks and so I just need ask president and I should be able to make it there. They made me burgers and gave me a Colombia jersey before I left. I love them so much and I am so glad I had the time to be with them and to change my life by being with them!!!!!
I know that Jesus is the Christ. I know that it is only Him that knows all things we pass through like it says here in these 2 scriptures--
7 And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people. (Mosiah 3:7)
11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.
13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me.(Alma 7:11-13)
I know that he is the one and is the one that will always be there for us no matter what we are going through. I love him and am thankful for the power and strength that he gives me every single moment because it is only through him that I can do anything!!!!
Love you all a ton!!!!!! Have a great week!!!

Well here I am again...fast week huh?
Mama,
Well just sounds like a fantastic time you have been having this week with all this end of school year stuff. Just a party like none other.
Ultimate sounds like it was a little of a heart breaker, but you know that it's okay they will come back even more next year.
I have heard nothing about the change of clothing or anything. It sounds super weird. I mean what is the definition of mosquito time. Because here there are always tons of mosquitoes. But I mean it just kind of sounds like not a mission to me. But you know if they feel that it is okay I have no problem with it because if it is official, it is because they received the revelation and that is nothing to even argue against at all..
Well this week was pretty normal. I had my final interview with President Richardson this week because he goes home in July and our next interviews won't be until august and so that was kind of sad. It is hard to think I wont finish with them because really they have changed my life so much and helped me become an even better missionary. They are truly people I look up to a ton!!!
I just want to share a few thoughts of the week:
The best way to start out the day is on your knees. No replacement of it.
Keep your head held high in every situation. You feel better.
Be obedient! Not only does it bless you, but those around you.
Even if you feel like you can't do much, you can do more than you think.
God is a God of Miracles.
Sometimes we are molded by the situation and other times by the people in the situation.
Sometimes it is all about what you can give and how much you love. Really there is nothing else.
God just expects our best and He will be proud.
Be seen as a repenter and not a sinner.
Repentance is Joy.
The best way to becomes friends is to share food.
A good laugh can change a lot of problems.
Don't take yourself to seriously. It takes the fun out of the mission.
You aren't perfect. But are working to perfection.
Christ gave it all for the one.
Prayer is powerful.
GOD LOVES EACH OF US!!!
Have a great week!! I love you tons!!!

Being stuck in the house is like the worst!
Mama,
Wow. Sounds like a good week and another one to look forward too. You are doing tons of stuff and it sounds like everything is winding down to start off summer. That is great.
Well this week was well might I say terrible. I was stuck inside for 3 days taking care of my sick companion. It stinks so bad when you get sick on the mission and so that was not fun at all. There is a lot of sickness going around right now and so well, you just have to make the most of it. And work through what you can. But there are just somethings that wipe us out down here and most of the time it has to do with the stomach.
The familia Bermudez is doing well. They should be getting married this week and then baptized on the 28th. (not so pressured) so that is going well and I am just loving it here.
I just want to share a few scriptures to finish. (I will find them in English...don't worry)
33 Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; teach them to humble themselves and to be meek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand every temptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
34 Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls
35 O, remember, my son, and learn wisdom in thy youth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep the commandments of God.
36 Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever
37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
Alma 37:33-37
I love these scriptures because they teach all about the work and prayer and how essential it is to pray to have success in all your things you are dealing with. I know Christ lives and loves us and that he is always there to respond to our needs and wants.
Love you tons!!

Normal week
Mama,
It was so good to talk to you too!! It was just fun to have that time and to be able to talk about life and how great the mission is. You guys are pretty much the same or well Jaden no isn't....well you all have changed but in good ways. I think we are all more spiritually mature. Your talk was great and it loved reading it . It is fun to see how much I have changed and been able to grow over the time I have been in the mission.
I am so thankful you are my mom! Happy Mothers Day!!
So pretty much this week was normal just with a lot of work and going and doing the Lords work. I am so thankful for that. Today for Pday was fun. There is this angel statue that we went to and it was cool but it was raining the whole time and we got soaked. It was a memorable district activity and we became a lot closer because of it. I am so thankful for the chance we get to learn from other missionaries and how we are able to grow and change as we learn and grow closer to the Savior. I mean we are all so different from different places but since we are all missionaries and on the Lords time we are very close even if we wouldn't have been before.
I love the mission a ton!!
I hope you have a great week!!

Well.... I am out of subject lines!!
Mama,
Well it sounds like a great and crazy week.....WHAT!! Crazy wind. You had more damage with that than with the earthquake I had here....haha Crazy what life brings right?!
Well this week we saw some awesome miracles. The familia Bermudez had to make 120 dollars to be able to get married. It was crazy but they pulled it off. I helped a bit with my personal money but they made about 90 dollars selling lunches. WOOT WOOT!! Santiago is still being a little tough. But he will come around. They passed their entrevistas(interviews) yesterday and are getting married tomorrow. I know that the power of the fast is real. I fasted last week on Thursday for them and now they are seeing miracles. They are such a great family and I love them sooooooooooo much. I know that this Gospel can change any heart and can heal any soul from anything. As long as we turn to Christ.
I received a blessing a while ago that told me to not worry about the little things and to trust the Lord in all things. I really have seen this as I do that....even with being soooo sick this past couple days with a cold that I can do all things. I am feeling better, but it is getting there. But as I worry less about myself and more about these wonderful people I can truly come to know even more about what the Lord wants me to be.
I know this is his work. I am so blessed to be apart of it and to be changed by his Charity. Charity is so powerful and I know that it is the center of this work. It is not only love but a love that changes you and carries you to action. I know it and love it. Keep praying for the familia Bermudez please. Just a few more miracles and they are set to be ready to be preparing to head to the temple in a year to make their familia eterna!!
LOVE YOU TONS!! Can't wait to talk to you Sunday!!
LOVE YOU

PS still haven't got my card but it is taking about 6 weeks to get letters now so i feel it should be here soon!!
